Hello there! I’m thrilled to have you here. I’m Alissa, and it's a privilege to welcome you to The Alissa Avenue Company®. As the CEO of this vibrant community, I’ve had the joy of serving countless clients and customers as a dedicated work+life coach and helping professional for over 25 years.
I aim to support ambitious individuals and fledgling organizations in reaching their unique visions of success, balance, personal and professional growth. I’ve shared my signature systems & tools for managing time, stress, and projects with groups, and over the years, many of my clients and members have fondly dubbed me as their “work+life homegirl.”
I absolutely love that; I’ve even copyrighted the title! ;-)
My journey began in 1999 when I was a young mom armed with a Compaq computer and a dream to build my own empire. In the corner of my modest living room, I set off on this path with little guidance but a lot of passion that fueled my forward momentum.
Back then, social media {like Facebook, Twitter, Threads, TikTok, etc.} was non-existent—just chat rooms and AOL’s '“you’ve got mail”, which really shows my age, right? But I digress. It’s incredible to see how much the world and tech have evolved and how it’s transformed our daily lives.
I deeply understand what it’s like to start from humble beginnings. I resonate with those who possess the passion and determination to succeed and the grit needed to create the life they desire and pursue the work they love—no matter the obstacles they face.
Having spent years navigating the world of entrepreneurship, I understand just how daunting it can be to find the right support and tools when pursuing your career aspirations, especially in the face of multiple setbacks. My business journey has been shaped by countless hours spent reading, learning from experts, taking courses, conducting thorough research, and taking significant risks. Like many, I’ve made my fair share of costly mistakes along the way—years of trial and error have taught me invaluable lessons. Over the last two decades, I’ve attended an endless number of business events, workshops, and networking gatherings, all in the pursuit of growth.
I can genuinely empathize with the challenge of balancing personal and professional demands, especially as I began my own path as a young wife, college student, and mother of three.
First and foremost, remember that you are not alone in this journey. Even if it feels like you’re the only one passionately pursuing your vision without a solid support system, keep pressing forward!
I’ve created the resources and the supportive environment I wish I had when I was starting out, and I’ve been fortunate enough to help many others in similar situations.
I want to extend that same support to you, offering the tools that have propelled me toward my definition of success.
